Kidz Quest Children’s Ministry
In many ways, children are the lifeblood of the church. Kidz Quest meets weekly to provide a worship environment that teaches the stories of the faith and develops young believers. Multiple events throughout the year are geared to helping our children develop their talents and to grow in their faith. Kidz Quest Children’s Ministry is central to the life of our church and a blessing here at First Naz.
Rooted Student Ministries
It has often been, in the history of the church, that revival has come through teenagers. Teens are hungry for a place to express their feelings, and they crave something authentic. Rooted Student Ministries provides a place to foster the spiritual development of students from 6th grade through 12th grade. Regular events, service times, devotional times, and even training are part of our youth ministry as we seek to create a space for youth to come to know God, grow in Christ and as a result go serve others.
J.O.Y (Just Older Youth) Sr. Adult Ministry
This vibrant group is for anyone age 50 and older. Our J.O.Y. group meets monthly for times of fellowship. Our Senior Adult Ministry is a vital part of the church as we believe in the blessing of intergenerational ministry. Our senior adults, truly are a source of joy for the community of faith.
Men’s Ministry
We believe that as men go the home will follow. God has called men to a special roll in the home, the church, and the community. Our goal is to see men step up to be the husbands, fathers, and leaders that God has called them to be. We gather for regular times of fellowship and discipleship as we challenge one another to grow in Christlikeness. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
Women’s Ministry
Providing a place for women to fellowship, grow, and serve. The Church of the Nazarene has always valued the place of women in proclaiming the gospel message. At First Naz we expound on this with regular times of fellowship and events to strengthen and deepen the spiritual life of the women in our congregation.
Life Groups
Walking the life of faith together, digging into God’s Word, and capitalizing on the prayer and communal support that moves us toward growth in Christ. They are safe places to share, grow, and provide much needed Christlike accountability. These groups change quarterly. Check out our current or upcoming groups below!
